A full-day tour of some of Rome’s most iconic sights and the Vatican’s masterpieces.
The day begins with a guided walk through the historic centre, taking in the Church of San Luigi dei Francesi, the Pantheon, Piazza Navona with the Fountain of the Four Rivers, Piazza Colonna, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps with the famous Barcaccia fountain. After the morning’s activities, our driver will take you to lunch.
In the afternoon, the tour continues to the Vatican Museums, one of the world’s most important art collections. You will admire the Pio Clementino Museum, the Gallery of Maps, the Gallery of Candelabra, the Gallery of Tapestries and the extraordinary Sistine Chapel with its frescoes by Michelangelo. The tour ends in St Peter’s Square, dominated by the dome and Bernini’s famous colonnade.
